DJ Thick presents: Skateshop Radio - Episode 39 - Let's Have Some F*&^%in' Fun

I've been wanting to do a backyard show for about a little over a year now.  I got a Steam Deck about this time last year and realizing that it is a fully capable PC, able to run OBS and Audacity, that I could put together a fairly portable rig with my old CDJs, old mixer, and a folding table.  Using a power strip and only one outlet.  It took a lot of planning, but I'm happy to have finally figured it out and gotten it done!

Tech aside, I also wanted to put together some summer-specific sets that would lend themselves to such a setting.  So, what we have here is the first of the Summer Series.  First up is just some fun drum n bass that I realized way too late should be called Fun and Bass.  But stay tuned, there's more to come!  I'm working on an Afrobeat set with Fela Kuti and the like, a beautiful House set and of course I have a regular rotation episode in the works too.
